Salina law enforcement arrested two suspects that were connected to two different burglaries at Salina businesses.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday into Monday, November 24, two burglaries occurred at Acoustic Sounds (605 W North St) and Bishop Street Tavern (717 Bishop St).
Stolen from Acoustic Sounds, was a zebra brand scanner and miscellaneous work tools. An undisclosed amount of alcohol was stolen from Bishop Street Tavern.
Salina Police conducted a search warrant at a storage unit on 400 block of north 9th, and recovered the scanner and tools that were stolen.
Afterwards, officers were dispatched to the Budget King Motel (809 N. Broadway) on Tuesday, November 25 and arrested two suspects connected to the burglaries.
Arrested was 25-year old, Joseph Mastin and a 15-year old male.
Mastin was booked into the Saline County Jail for the requested charges of Burglary x2, Theft x2 and Contributing to a Child's Misconduct.
The juvenile was transported to a Juvenile Detention Center.
