One person died in a motorcycle accident in the early morning hours Tuesday in Salina.

Salina Police Lieutenant James Feldman told Salina Post this morning that at approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning, officers were dispatched to the intersection of E. Pacific and N. Front Street in reference to an injury accident involving a motorcycle.&nbsp;

"On arrival, officers located the male subject, a 47-year-old male, lying on the ground," Feldman said. "They began doing life-saving measures. EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead."&nbsp;

Investigators are still working to fully determine the circumstances leading up to the accident.&nbsp; Police have not released the victim's name.
