Ellie Vincent began serving as the new Central Kansas District 4-H Youth Development Agent on June 9. The Central Kansas District serves the citizens of Ottawa and Saline Counties. She will start with her primary office being in Salina.

Originally from Virginia, Vincent earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences & Industry from Kansas State University. She brings an extensive 4-H and FFA background as well as valuable experience from her internship with Virginia Cooperative Extension. Vincent has most recently been employed as an animal health student employee for the Kansas Department of Agriculture in Manhattan, Kansas.

4-H youth development agents develop and deliver educational programs for school-aged youth. This includes supporting community clubs, out-of-school programs, school enrichment, volunteer management, and outreach to create new program opportunities with new and existing community partners.
