Salina residents are only allowed to discharge fireworks within the City limits of Salina on July 3-4 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

"Please keep our 911 lines open for Emergency Calls Only, not complaints on fireworks," the statement reads.
A reminder-fireworks can not be discharged on public property. You may only discharge them on personal property. Always follow the instructions, keep a safe distance, and never relight a dud firework.
