Salina police are investigating the theft of an AR-15 style rifle.
McKenzie Billings, 19, of Salina, reported that sometime between May 1-29, someone stole her Smith and Wesson M&P 15 5.56 mm rifle from her residence in the 500 block of East Cloud Street, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
Billings told police that she was in the process of moving and noticed the rifle was missing. It was valued at $800, Forrester said.
