McPHERSON - Jesus Moreno scored twice to help the Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team pick up a 3-1 win over McPherson on Wednesday night at McPherson Stadium.
The win is the third in a row for the Coyotes, who stay unbeaten in KCAC play at 3-0, and are 6-2 overall.
Moreno netted Wesleyan's first goal in the 24th minute and in the 27th, the Coyotes scored again as Abaenya Nundu scored off an assist by Kamille Kum.
Wesleyan would lead 2-0 at the half.McPherson scored in the 64th minute to halve Wesleyan's lead, but the Coyotes got a second tally from Moreno to put the Coyotes up 3-1.
Kum led the Coyotes with seven shots while Moreno had six as KWU outshot McPherson 22-9 in the match.
The Coyotes are on the road on Saturday at Ottawa before returning back to JRI Stadium next Wednesday to host Tabor.
