MARION -- A minor earthquake rattled part of Marion County Friday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 3:56 p.m. southeast of Marion. It was centered just west of Wagonwheel Road between 170th Street and 180th Street.
