Salina, KS - Donna Lee Vittoe, 80 years young, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, April 10, 2023. She had been looking forward to this day, to meet up with other family and friends.
Donna was born July 15, 1942, in Conway, IA, to Frank and Edrie Gardner.
After 28+ years working for Walmart, she retired in Salina. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially those at Ray Avenue Baptist Church.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, brother Frances, and sisters Norma Chase and Linda Miller.
Survivors include sons Jay B. (Serpil) Vittoe of Florida and James F. (LeeElla) of Salina, brothers Keith Gardner of Missouri and Ron Gardner of Oklahoma, sisters Johanna Prayor of Kentucky and Mary Spidell of Salina.
Donna loved and enjoyed her six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, 2801 Ray Ave, Salina, at 4 p.m., with Pastor John Day officiating.
Memorials to honor Donna can be made in the care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina, KS, to assist the family with memorial expenses, or can be made in her name to Ray Ave. Baptist Church.
