USD 305 - Free Training for Parents and Community!
Join us in a free training program designed to help you create a safe, connected, and problem-solving home or school environment. This training is offered by Salina Public Schools and Saline County and aims to turn everyday situations into learning opportunities for both children and adults.
What's Included in the Training?
- A ten-week e-learning course facilitated by a Salina Public Schools professional
- Two sessions to choose from (content is the same in all sessions, and registration closes one week before the first day of class for each session)
- Mondays, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Jan. 22 to April 8.
- Saturdays, 9 to 11 a.m., Jan. 27 to March 30.
What will we learn?
Our social-emotional program focuses on the power of self-discipline, helping parents and educators support children's learning. Conscious Discipline provides an array of behavior management strategies that anyone can use to transform ordinary situations into growth experiences.
You will learn how to create settings that allow both adults and children to function in their best brain state, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for all.
