Saline County: 52 new COVID-19 cases; 8,357 of 9,014 recovered

Following is the Saline County Health Department COVID-19 update for Friday.

There have been 52 new cases of COVID-19 reported since our last update on Wednesday, and the Saline County Health Department is currently monitoring 490 patients who are currently dealing with issues related to COVID-19.

In total, 9014 individual cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the Health Department, and at least 8357 people have recovered after testing positive for the virus.

Salina Regional Health Center reports that 8 patients require hospitalization related to COVID-19.

As of Wednesday, November 17, a total of 27,338 Saline County residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19 accounting for just over 50% of the population.

The Saline County Vaccination Collaboration administered over 635 Moderna Boosters at a single drive-thru event last week!
