Salina Police and EMS assist an unresponsive man, but police later arrested him due to multiple warrants.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Thursday at around noon, EMS and SPD were notified about an unresponsive man that drove his vehicle onto a curb in the 300 block of S. 8th. When they arrived, medical personnel had to break the window of the vehicle to help the man identified as 30-year old, Phoenix Leonard.
EMS was able to get Leonard out of the vehicle and further transported him to Salina Regional Health Center. He was later released.
However, SPD stated they arrested Leonard due to multiple warrants. They are currently investigating the incident and stated that further charges are possible.
