Steve C. Chartier, age 63, entered into rest on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his residence in Concordia, Kansas. He was born on January 31, 1958 in Concordia, Kansas to Charles and Mary (Sorell) Chartier.
Steve was a 1976 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas.
On July 11, 2018 he married Linda Collette in Concordia, Kansas.
Steve worked for Geisler Roofing Company in Concordia as a roofer for 30 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking fish, mushroom hunting, and loved listening to 70’s music.
Steve is survived by his wife Linda, 2 step children, Erin (Jeff ) Burchfiel, Zach (Jade) McGuire, 3 step grandchildren, Austin Cordry, Lucas Burchfiel, Gage McGuire. His dog Wally who he loved more than his wife (LOL). Sisters, Peg (Richard) Sholtz, Linda LeClair, Pam (Mark) Perry, Brother, Jim (Ambrea) Chartier, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary,
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Glen Elder Lake at the Sioux Kaw Location. A private family Inurnment will be held at a later time in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph, Kansas.
