December 2021 has been a most unusual month weather-wise.
According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, Christmas Eve day will be unseasonably warm and windy, with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s and southwest winds gusting over 35 mph.
Although cooler on Christmas day, temperatures will still average well above normal for late December, the weather service noted.
