B&K Prescription Shop warned its customers today to be aware of scam phone calls claiming to be from B&K.
In a post on its Facebook page, B&K wrote the following.
We have been getting reports over the last few days of Salina customers/residents receiving phone calls where the caller is asking them to pay their B&K "bill" or that they owe money. In a couple of instances caller ID even showed our phone number! Please be aware that we are not calling people and requesting payments over the phone. We encourage you to stop by to pay any balances you may have, drop a check in the mail, or you call us directly with a payment method of your choice. We have not had any data breaches at our facilities. If you ever have a question about employee identification while on a phone call that you did not initiate, hang up and call the store yourself to discuss the area of concern with our team.
