SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy HHR driven by Carol A. Bolgren, 79, Coolidge, Arizona, was southbound on U.S. 81 approximately three miles north of Interstate 70.
The SUV entered the east ditch. The driver overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. The SUV crossed the roadway, struck the guardrail in the west ditch and came to rest partially in the right lane.
EMS transported Bolgren to Salina Regional Health Center. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
