
A Salina man was arrested on multiple requested drug charges after a stop on Interstate 70 Monday night.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that a deputy stopped a 2010 Ford Explorer at mile marker 264 on Interstate 70 at 10 p.m. Monday for traveling at 93 mph in a 75 mph zone. Upon making contact with the driver, Terrence Szczepaniak, 25, of Salina, the deputy noticed a small amount of marijuana in the console of the Explorer, Soldan explained.
During a search of the vehicle, the following were found, Soldan said.
20 grams of marijuana
55 grams of methamphetamine
A drug pipe
Szczepaniak was arrested on requested charges that include the following, according to Soldan.
Speeding
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
No tax stamp
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
