Salina woman reports stroller, its contents stolen from curb location

Salina police are looking for a stroller thief.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, Deeanna Rebelez, 44, of Salina, reported that she was at the northeast corner of South Phillips Street and West Walnut Street and left her stroller by the curb for a few minutes. When she returned, she saw a male subject loading her stroller into a burgundy colored Chevrolet Avalanche. The incident occurred between 10-10:30 p.m. Monday.

Rebelez told police that she had numerous items in the stroller, including the following, Forrester noted.

A Swiss Army back pack

An LG Stylus 6 phone

A Moto Power G phone

A Samsung Galaxy Note 10

An LG Optimus phone

An Acer tablet

Miscellaneous IDs

Total loss was estimated at $1,064, Forrester reported.
