Salina man accused of sexually assaulting a child, investigation currently ongoing

A man was arrested after sexually assaulting a child at a Salina home and police are currently investigating further.

According to the Salina Police Department on Tuesday, June 3rd at around 1:30 pm, officers received a call from Salina Regional Health Center regarding a child who was sexually assaulted.

When police arrived to the hospital, an investigation was conducted. Officers determined earlier that morning, 31-year old Christopher Terry had inappropriately touched the child that was under the age of 10-years old at a residence in east central Salina. A family member of the child had found out about the incident when it occurred. 

Officers then arrived to the home where the crime happened and arrested Terry without incident. He was booked into the Saline County Jail for 3 counts of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
