Salina Police Department
On Monday, Training Sergeant Tim Brown swore in three new officers for the Salina Police Department.

Officer Courtney Thornton is from Minneapolis, Kan., where her father is the Ottawa County Sheriff.

Officer Crystal Coletti is originally from California, moved to New York, then moved to Salina approximately three years ago with her husband, Marc, who is also a police officer for the City of Salina.

Officer John Leonard is from Miami and a U.S. Army Veteran.
These officers will attend the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, and on graduation, enter our Department's Field Training Program.
