Salina Post
Salina Regional Health Center is warning the public of recent scam calls.
According to the hospital, the calls appear to be from them and are requesting personal information such as Medicare numbers, Social Security numbers, bank account information and other sensitive details.
Please be aware that these calls are fraudulent.
The hospital states that someone is spoofing their telephone number, and the calls are not actually coming from them.
As a reminder, do not provide personal or financial information over the phone unless you have independently verified the identity of the caller. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately.
You can always call Salina Regional Health Center directly to verify if they were trying to reach you.
