Warm, breezy, and continued dry conditions will once again elevate the fire weather concerns across the area this afternoon, especially across central Kansas, according to the National Weather Service.
Very high to potentially extreme grassland fire danger values are forecast.
Near record high temperatures are possible across the area today, as high temperatures will be 20 degrees above normal, the weather service noted.
