Salina Police are currently searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a convenience store.&nbsp;

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Friday, August 8th an armed robbery occurred at the Kwik Shop on 657 Fairdale Rd. At around 10:30 pm, SPD received a call from a customer who stated that the store clerk had been robbed.&nbsp;

When officers arrived, they found the clerk and interviewed them. The clerk stated they stepped outside to check on ice machines, and was approached by a man wearing an all-black attire with mask and gloves. Reportedly, the suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and allegedly demanded money.&nbsp;

Allegedly, the suspect then entered inside the store and stole an unknown amount of money from the cash register. Afterwards, the suspect left the store and it was not determined whether they left in a vehicle or on foot.

SPD is currently searching for the suspect and are reviewing surveillance footage.
