The Wichita Turbo Tubs today announced their home schedule for the 2027 baseball season. The Tubs will open the season at home on Friday, April 2 against the Frisco RoughRiders, the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers. It will be the fourth time in seven seasons that the team will open up the season at home.
The 2027 season will consist of 138 games, with 69 of them taking place at Equity Bank Park. The schedule will be similar to recent seasons with most series beginning on a Tuesday and wrapping up on Sunday.
It will be the first time in franchise history the team will host all of the teams in the Texas League. Amarillo travels to the air capital for the first time since 2023.
The Wind Surge are home Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, the first Riverfest Weekend in early June and also home on Father's Day later in the month.
The Surge will play at home 18 times in the month of June. They will host Father’s Day for the third consecutive season and will be at home against Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
The official game times, season ticket information, and promotional schedule will be announced at a later date. Wichita closes the season with a six-game homestand against the Arkansas Travelers culminating on Sunday, September 12.
The Wichita Wind Surge have three homestands remaining in the 2026 season, the team will convert to the Turbo Tubs this fall and announce the full schedule, promotions etc. at a later date.
