Sheryl Ann Hager was born on October 1, 1961, in Topeka, the daughter of Gerald A. and Pauline Rae (Johnson) Sothers. Sheryl grew up in Courtland, and graduated from Courtland High School, class of 1979.
Sheryl passed away on October 31, 2021, in Belleville, at the age of 60 years and 30 days.
She is preceded in death by her mother Pauline.
She is survived by her father, Gerald Sothers and wife Idamay of Courtland, son Ryan Sothers and his fiancé Shari of Jamestown, daughter Tina Towery and her husband Eric of Hastings; grandchildren Jerrod Sothers, Quinn Sothers, Kota “Piper” Roth, Charlie, Miles and Remington Towery. Sheryl is also survived by her sister Jann Gieber and her husband Mark of Belleville, brother Rodney Sothers and his wife Diane of Concordia, special friend Daniel Jensen of Courtland, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Private family graveside memorial services will held at the Courtland Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Sheryl Hager Memorial, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
