Police are investigating burglaries at two storage facilities in south and southwest Salina.
Sometime between Dec. 13 and Thursday, someone cut the lock off of a storage unit at KO Storage, 3335 S. Ninth Street, and stole the following items, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning.
Miscellaneous jewelry valued at $1,000
Three hoverboards valued at $450
Engine parts for a 1999 Lexus valued at $300
Officers are checking for any video at the facility.
Between Dec. 23 and Wednesday, someone cut the locks off of multiple storage units at a storage facility at 2141 Centennial Road. A storage facility employee had noticed the missing locks and reported them to police, Hanus said. Storage facility personnel attempted to notify all renters whose unit locks had been cut. The locks were valued at $15 each.
One unit renter said that nothing appeared to be missing.
Another renter reported the following items missing, Hanus said.
A winch valued at $425

A leaf blower valued at $225
An older style Toro zero-turn mower valued at $500
