On Tuesday, the Saline County Road and Bridge Department will begin culvert work along Brookville Road in the western part of the county.

The department will be replacing cross-road drainage culverts along Brookville Road from Pleasant Hill Road to Kansas Highway 140. 

Traffic delays are expected. Motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property at all times. 

Construction is expected to last for three weeks.
