Cathy Louise Crawford, 64, of Salina went to Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
Cathy was an amazing soul who had never met a stranger. She worked for Phillips Lighting for close to 40 years, loved to write poetry, stories, but most of all she loved her family. She would have done anything for anyone. She forgave, and never gave up on life and always kept a positive attitude to get through any trials or tribulations. She gave the best hugs, advice, and of course, lectures. She was very knowledgeable on just about any thing you ever had a question and could find a solution to anything. Her main passion in life was family. Jonathan, Richard, Quentin, Quinn, and Leo were her everything. She loved those boys with everything in her. Never having any daughters, she had plenty of nieces to fill the void. Caretakers and nieces Stacy Lowe, Michelle Peterson Simmons, and great niece Haleana Joy Simmons were there to keep her on her toes with the boys. She loved her siblings and loved anything family oriented.
The family would also sincerely like to acknowledge Shaina, she really loved you, and we appreciate the sincere love and care you provided.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Crawford and Betty Lou Crawford, her sister Joy Crawford Peterson, and son Richard Charles Parnell.
She was survived by her son, Jonathan James Parnell, grandson Quinn Preston Parnell, Daughter in law Melissa Patrick with grandsons Leo.
James Parnell, Quentin Alexander Summers. Siblings include Deborah and Don Blatazor, Michael and Brenda Crawford, William and Suzanne Crawford, Robin Stokes, LaDonna Crawford, Mark and Jill Crawford. Nieces and nephews: Jennifer Crawford Phillips, Jessica Crawford, Johnell Crawford Wilson, Clarice Crawford, William Crawford Jr, Justin Crawford, Charles Lowe, Crystal Bergman, Stacy Lowe, Darren Stokes, Michelle Peterson Simmons, Jason Peterson, Christopher Peterson, LaTisha Pierce, Kirk Pierce, Curtis Crawford, Kaity Crawford, and Abigail Crawford.
There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
