When the accident occurred, Logan Sullivan, 25, of Salina, was riding his motorcycle southbound on Burma Road with other motorcyclists.
"A red 2023 Ducati motorcycle was southbound on Burma Road, where it struck some gravel, lost control, and went off into the west ditch," Soldan said. "The deputy noted he had road rash on his arms and back."
According to Soldan, one of the other motorcyclists called the Saline County Sheriff's office to report the accident. EMS transported Sullivan to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of his injuries.
Soldan said Sullivan was wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.
