On Saturday, July 27, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, the Friends of the Salina Public Library will host a “Drive Up & Donate” event. Community members can donate gently used books and media to support the library’s programs.

The drive, organized by the Friends of the Salina Public Library, will take place at 301 W. Elm, Salina, KS. Donors can drive up to the front of the library, where volunteers will unload the materials. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, a group dedicated to supporting the library’s mission.

Acceptable Donations Include:

Gently used fiction and non-fiction books for all ages, textbooks and travel books less than three years old, and audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and video games. Proceeds from the collected items will fund various library programs and services.

Supporting the Library

Donating helps the library offer a wide range of educational and recreational opportunities. Every item donated supports the library's resources and programs.
