Local, area students among Washburn University fall grads

TOPEKA -- Washburn University has announced the students in its fall 2020 graduating class. Nearly 400 students completed their courses for associate, bachelor's and master's degrees.

"These students worked diligently to complete their studies," said Dr. Jerry Farley, Washburn University president. "We were not able to celebrate with a ceremony in December, but I have no doubt that they will accomplish great things."

Graduates include:

Aileen Bacon of Abilene, with a Associate of Liberal Studies in Liberal Studies

Ellen Barrett of McPherson, with a Associate of Liberal Studies in Liberal Studies

Paige Howard of Chapman, with a Associate of Liberal Studies in Liberal Studies

Brittney Falcon of Salina, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Erika Hess of Marion, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Maeve Martin of Salina, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Natalie Howie of Abilene, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Health Services Administration

Teri Kohman of Abilene, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Health Services Administration
