A candidate forum for three contested races of the Southeast of Saline USD 306 Board of Education has announced to be held next Wednesday.
At 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 22 the forum will occur at the Southeast of Saline USD 306 theater. The forum will allow the public an opportunity to identify candidates for each seat, ask questions of candidates and listen to candidate responses.
Running for Position #4, covering Zone 1 which includes Assaria, Mentor and Bridgeport is Kenny Costigan and Skylar Hanson.
Running for Position #5, covering Zone 2 which includes Gypsum is Jill Ade and Drew Rathbun.
Running for Position #6, covering Zone 3 which includes Kipp, and northern territory of the school district running east to west is Stephanie Markle and Jessica Goubeaux.
Individuals interested in hearing a response to a specific question can submit their question at https://forms.gle/avXy5yEE7yzu3Mwm9 prior to the event.
The forum will include each candidate presenting an opening statement, answering questions produced from the public and then presenting a closing statement. The forum will be moderated by Southeast of Saline graduate, Kevin Hall of Gypsum.
Southeast of Saline graduate, Lori Blake of Assaria, will be hosting the candidates and providing consultation prior to the event.
A public reception will follow outside of the theater with refreshments provided by the Southeast of Saline Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
