There's a new Freddy's coming to Salina and it is the first of its kind!

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, recently started construction on its first walk-up and drive-thru prototype in Salina at 916 E. Crawford St. next to Mokas, according to information from the company.

“We’re so grateful for all of the support and positive feedback we’ve received from the community since we opened our first Salina location in 2009,” said Jason Ingermanson, franchise owner. “We look forward to giving residents in the area another convenient location to visit Freddy’s.”

A ceremonial groundbreaking event at the site was conducted this morning with Ingermanson and Scott Redler, co-founder and COO of the company, as well as local community leaders.

The restaurant will feature a double drive-thru, a walk-up window and 38 seats available on the patio. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app will also be available.

“With our new prototype, our focus will continue to remain on quality food and friendly service,” said Ingermanson. “Guests can always count on the fact that, no matter which Freddy’s location they visit, we strive to provide an exceptional experience every time.”
