The car reached a top speed of 110 mph on East Old Highway 40 and at times was driving without headlights being on, he added.
The suspect, identified as Curtis Minick, 22, of Manhattan, then fled onto the Saint Francis Ministries campus on foot, but was apprehended after a couple of minutes by a Salina Police Department officer, Soldan said.
