A "Back to School Bash" is set to occur at a local church in Salina for the purpose on ensuring students are prepared for the upcoming school year.

On Saturday, August 8 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church (215 S. Chicago Street) in Salina, the event will occur.

This event is open to all grades (K-12) to receive free supplies, free haircuts, raffles for gift cards.&nbsp;
