MARION - A small earthquake shook part of eastern Marion County early Saturday morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck northeast of Marion at 1:11 a.m. Saturday. It was centered southeast of the Clover Road-240th Road intersection, just west of the Marion-Chase county line.
