A small earthquake shook part of southern Saline County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.2 magnitude earthquake struck at 1:33 p.m. It was centered nearly below the E. Hobbs Creek Road/S. Cunningham Road intersection.
