Smoky View 4-H club members were treated to four presentations during the club’s March meeting in the Salemsborg Fellowship Center.
The demonstrations and talks covered a variety of topics: Kate Griffin discussed her experiences during her first county fair, Wyatt Griffin gave a talk titled “How to Pick a Shotgun” about hunting, Kenzie Isaacson demonstrated how to mix and bake her “Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies,” and Maia Pracht showed the club how to make hot chocolate mix from scratch.
The club also congratulated members that had participated in the recent Central Kansas District (CKD) Club Day. These members received award ribbons and feedback from their 4-H judges.
The club had some fun singing “The Bumblebee Song” and playing a variation of the “Warmer, Colder” game.
Smoky View will come together again at 4 p.m., April 16, in the Salemsborg Fellowship Center.
