Driver hosptalized after violent truck rollover accident

MCPHERSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Wednesday in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Straight Flatbed Truck driven by Alexander W.  Bumgarner, 32, Lebanon, Missouri, was northbound on Interstate 135  mile one mile south of Mohawk Road. The truck traveled off the road to the right, struck a KDOT guardrail, concrete barrier and then a bridge pillar. The vehicle then rotated approximately 90 degrees clockwise, rolled 3 times and came to rest on its passenger side facing east.

EMS transported Bumgarner to the hospital in McPherson. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
