November 9, 1982 - September 30, 2022

Steven Lee Schriner, Jr., 39, of Lindsborg, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at Ascension via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita due to complications of a car accident. He was born November 9, 1982 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Steven Lee Schriner, Sr, and Kathryn Elaine (Stier) Schriner.

He graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 2001. Steven later graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit.

Steven worked for Rainbow Trucking Inc. as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

Steven and Anna Wagoner welcomed four children together. She survives along with their children, Sky Schriner of Lawrence, and Jayce Schriner, Baylee Schriner and Blayne Schriner of Moundridge. He is also survived by sons Easton and Emerson; mother Kathy Schriner of Grove, Oklahoma; father Steven Lee Schriner, Sr. of Marquette; brother Brandon Lee Schriner of Joplin, MO; and paternal grandmother Judy Schriner of Marquette.

Steven enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to make people smile and laugh. He was considered the life of the party! Steven lived his life to the fullest and to the extreme. Above all, he loved spending his time with his kids.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Marlin Schriner; and maternal grandparents Danny and June Stier.

Family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022 at West Zion Mennonite Church, with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place at Langley Cemetery. Memorial donation checks may be made out to Moundridge Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs, and may be mailed to P.O. Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
