Ethan Michael Whitaker, 20, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Liberal, KS, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at his home in McPherson.

Ethan was born on December 10, 2000, the son of Scott and Nikki (Davis) Whitaker. He graduated from McPherson High School in 2020 and worked as a lifeguard at the McPherson City Swimming Pool and YMCA.

He is survived by: his parents, Scott & Nikki Whitaker of the home; four brothers, Dawson Whitaker of Salt Lake City, UT, Aaron Whitaker, Colin Whitaker, and Peyton Whitaker all of McPherson, KS; grandparents, Chuck Davis of Chanute, KS, Teri Davis of Salt Lake City, UT, Don & Cindy Whitaker of Liberal, KS; great-grandparents, Wilma Burris of Liberal, KS and Peggy Quattrone of White Deer, TX; an aunt, Erica Davis of Denver, CO; an uncle, Chad Warden of Liberal, KS; and many extended family and friends.
