With Easter coming up Sunday, several local organizations have scheduled Easter egg hunts for later in the week.
Following is a list of the egg hunts we are aware of. If your church or organization is having an egg hunt that is open to the public, please send the information to [email protected].
K-State Salina Purple Egg Hunt and Pancake Feed
Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.
2310 Centennial Road
The family-friendly day kicks off with a pancake feed hosted by the K-State Flight Team at 8 a.m. in the Studen Life Center. There is no cost for the pancake feed, but donations are welcome.
During the morning, a K-State bunny will be available for photos. Festivities continue with more than 2,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes for the hunt beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the UAS Pavillion (look for the large black nets in the middle of campus.) The egg hunt will also feature one golden egg with a special prize for each age category. There is no cost to participate.
Signs will be up around the campus to help visitors find the locations, according to information from K-State Salina.

Salina Parks & Recreation annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
841 Markley Road
The Salina Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with the Salina Optimist to host this free event. It is open to children ages 1 to 10! It will be held on Saturday on Field No. 1 of the Berkley Family Recreational Area, 841 Markley Road. The first hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. so be there early! The schedule is as follows.
Ages 1-4: 10 a.m.
Ages 5-7: 10:20 a.m.
Ages 8-10: 10:40 a.m.

Elite Sports Paintball & Airsoft Annual Easter Egg Hunt
10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Hunt for Easter eggs while playing paintball. Each Easter egg has a number that corresponds to a prize. Tickets are available at elitesportspark.com.

First Southern Baptist Church's annual Easter Egg Hunt is open to Salina residents. The event also will include games, inflatables, hot dogs, and prizes.
The schedule of the Easter Egg Hunts is as follows.
11:30 a.m.: 0-3 years old
11:40 a.m.: 4-7 years old
11:50 a.m.: third-fifth grade
