Glenda Ann Mummert, 75, of Derby (formerly of Salina), passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. &nbsp;She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on December 28, 1950, to George L. Brand and Leona P. (Tomlinson). &nbsp;She taught at Kansas State University and Salina Aerial Technical College. &nbsp;She also served on the board of education. &nbsp;

Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Davis (Chris); grandchildren, Rodolfo Garcia II (Megan), Jose Garcia, Malachia Garcia (Viviana Gonzalez); great-grandchildren, Rololfo Garcia III, Kailena Hallman, Penelope Garcia, Rafael Garcia, Beckman, Braylon Lies, Adelina Bocanegra. &nbsp;

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 44 years, Larry Mummert, and sister, Linda. &nbsp;

Burial will take place in Roselawn Cemetery. &nbsp;

Services are entrusted to Heier Scott Mortuary and Cremations, 1920 East Crawford Street, Salina, Kansas 67401.&nbsp;
