With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday comes local government closings.
Most City of Salina and Saline County offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. They are scheduled to return to regular hours on Nov. 28.
No City of Salina sanitation collection will take place Thursday. Thursday and Friday collections will be delayed by one day. Regular collection will resume Nov. 28.
Additionally, the City of Salina Landfill will be closed Thursday. Normal operating hours will resume Friday.
The Salina Drive-thru Recycling Center will be closed Thursday and will resume regular operating hours on Friday.
The Salina Public Library plans to close at 6 p.m. Wednesday and be closed all day Thursday and Friday. The library is scheduled to resume regular hours on Saturday.
