When you are cooking today and tomorrow, consider saving all your glass and plastic containers for the Salina Area Emergency Aid Food Bank.
“We are in need of cottage cheese, Cool Whip, and Sour Cream containers and any small jars that you have,” said April Rickman, board member at the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank.
All containers must be washed before donating them to the food bank.
The containers are used to package flour, sugar, and other items for the food bank clients.
The Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank is located at 255 S. Chicago Street in Salina.
