A Salina teen was injured in an accident just before 3:15 a.m. Sunday in Salina.
Salina Police Department reported a green 2013 Toyota Rav 4 driven by a Margaret Espinosa, 72, from Salina, was southbound in the 2600 of S. Ninth Street when she rear-ended 18 year old Daniel Nielsen, Salina.
Nielsen had minor injuries including road rash. According to SPD Sergeant Kyle Tonniges, due to damage the bicycle sustained during the accident, officers were unable to determine whether Nielsen did have a reflective light on his bicycle.
Espinosa told officers she did not see him in front of her.
