Larry D. Bremerman, August 14, 1945 - July 13, 2026

Larry D. Bremerman went home to his Lord and Savior on July 13, 2026 in Forsyth, Illinois at the age of 80. Larry grew up on a family farm in Tescott, Kansas. He cherished his childhood farm life experiences and often shared those touching memories from his formative years. He treasured the small town values and close family gatherings.

Larry attended and graduated from Tescott High School in 1963, where he served as Vice President of his class and was known for his athletic abilities on the football team. Larry married his high school sweetheart, Connie Griggs. Together, they grew a loving family that included two beautiful daughters.

In 1971, they moved to Mount Zion, Illinois where they raised their family and Larry owned Railcar Services for 10 years. He later worked for Stericycle for 24 years until his  retirement.

Larry found joy in music, especially the band Alabama. His favorite pastimes included spending time boating on Lake Shelbyville with family and friends. He also found it relaxing, listening to his friend Gary play the steel guitar.

Larry was deeply loved and will be forever remembered. He is survived by his current wife Sandy; daughters Tina and Tonya (Jeff); stepdaughters Angie and Michele; grandchildren Jordon, Rachel (Josh), Roxanne (Scott), Aleicia, and Tyler; bonus granddaughters Jonnie Lynn (Brody) and Ashley; eight great-grandchildren; and his brother Keith (Mary) Bremerman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Neva Bremerman of Tescott, Kansas, and his brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Marzie Bremerman.

In accordance with Larry’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to donate to a Charity of their choice in his name.
