RESTAURANT STAFF
Do you love preparing great food and interacting with people? Then we have a position for you! Rolling Hills Zoo is seeking an energetic individual who enjoys cooking and is eager to provide excellent customer service to our Zoo guests. This position has a flexible work schedule with some weekends and holidays required. Pay is commensurate with experience!
EVENT TEAM
If you enjoy providing quality customer service in a fun environment, then Rolling Hills Zoo has an opening for you on their Event Team! These are part-time/as needed positions that would help with events in the Conference Center as well as in the Zoo.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Bartending experience desired but will train
· Setting up and tearing down the Conference Center for events
· Serving food and beverage in the Conference Center
· Assisting with special events such as Zoo Brew and Pumpkin PaZoola
LANDSCAPE STAFF
Do you enjoy working outdoors and would like to take care of a 65-acre oasis? Rolling Hills Zoo is accepting applications for full-time and seasonal landscape positions. The right candidates will have the opportunity to work in a beautiful zoological park with a wide variety of plants and trees. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of turf grass maintenance, including irrigation, fertilizing and weed control
· General landscape knowledge
· Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Will operate all types of landscape equipment including mowers, skid-steers, weed-eaters, and leaf-blowers
· Must work in all types of weather
· Two years previous landscape experience is preferred.
MAINTENANCE STAFF
Are you familiar with basic fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete work and carpentry? Then Rolling Hills Zoo has a position for you on our Maintenance team. To apply you must be a team player and be able to work weekends. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Pay is commensurate with experience.
