Kenneth L. Will, 93, of Salina, KS passed away June 12, 2023. He was born January 4, 1930 in Salina to George and Marie Will. Kenneth had an older brother Karl and younger sister Norma who preceded him in death.
Kenneth was raised on the family farm 5 miles West of Salina. After graduating from Kansas Wesleyan in 1951 he was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served from 1951 until 1953 at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas.
On May 31, 1952 he married Marilyn Lewis at her parent’shome south of Bavaria. After returning to Kansas in the Fall of 1953 they bought the farm west of Salina where they lived for the 71 years of their marriage. Kenneth farmed with his dad and eventually with his sons.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; sons, Steve and Tim (Chris) all of Salina; and daughter Karen (Dwight) Diller of Riley, KS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Hannah (Paul) Bossert, Topeka, KS, Naomi (David) Brandenburg, St. George, KS, Rachel (Steve) Willis, Topeka, KS, Zach Will, Salina; and 7 great grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Tom, and a granddaughter, Meghan Will.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10:30 at the Village Bible Church in Salina. A visitation will precede the service at 9:30, also at the church. Interment will follow immediately at the Bavaria Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the church, Gideons International or the Bavaria Community Cemetery.
