ELLSWORTH COUNTY—A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Sunday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Kia Sportage SUV driven by Melissa R. Hill, 46, Liberty, Mo, was pulling out of the gas station parking lot on Kansas 14 just south of Interstate 70.
The SUV pulled out in front of a 2018 Chevy Silverado driven by Arnulfo R. Rios, 19, Little River.
EMS transported Rios to the hospital in Ellsworth.
Hill and a passenger in the KIA were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
