With the high school football season reaching the halfway point, this Friday will be a busy one for all 11 schools in our area when week five kicks off tonight.
In Class 5A Salina Central will travel to take on Newton while South battles Valley Center. From the NCKL Abilene will clash with Marysville while Chapman faces Concordia. In the NCAA Southeast of Saline hosts Lyons for homecoming, Ellsworth squares off with Hillsboro, Sacred Heart travels to Sedgwick and Minneapolis hosts Halstead, and finally in Class 1A Bennington is at Valley Heights, and Ell-Saline plays host to Solomon.
